Sarah Barnes-Tsai has been a music professor at the Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA) for over thirty years serving as adjunct teacher for both music and traditional music departments. As a career educator, she has taught music appreciation of jazz, American popular music, world music, general music and rhythm studies. Professor Sarah directs and arranges music for steel band classes for students from all departments using a combined system of traditional rote method, world music performance approach and adult-learning formulas. Holding degrees for percussion performance and world music studies from Northern Illinois University, she is devoted to sharing global music through performances and educational experiences.
邦恩莎已在國立臺北藝術大學擔任音樂教授三十餘年,兼任音樂系和傳統音樂系教師。身為專業教育者,她教授爵士樂、美國流行樂、世界音樂、一般音樂和節奏研究的音樂賞析。邦教授也指導並為鋼鼓樂團課程編曲,樂團由各學系的學生組成,她的教學結合了傳統學習方法、世界音樂表演和成人學習模式。她擁有北伊利諾大學打擊樂表演和世界音樂研究學位,致力於通過表演和教學的經驗分享世界音樂。
